About you

  • You love process; you’re able to manage multiple WIPs and projects with the ability to keep your team on track to meet deadlines, and set realistic client expectations
  • You have great rapport building skills and can develop strong relationships with intermediate- senior level stakeholders (externally and internally)
  • You own client budgets, managing the financial process for multiple jobs from end-to-end while keeping business needs front of mind
  • You’re an empathetic leader with the drive to develop your team and workplace culture

About the role

  • As the Social Account Director for this global technology giant’s social brands in ANZ, you will be the first port of call for stakeholders across multiple business streams spanning commercial, consumer, PR, developer and hardware.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for

  • Overseeing your client’s always-on activity to ensure their channels are best in class
  • Strategically delivering end-to-end management of ad-hoc projects (paid/creative/webinar)
  • Providing quality control on copy/creative, ensuring work goes out with no mistakes
  • Creating RTBs with the relevant Account Managers for incoming briefs
  • Regularly checking budgets for your projects, ensuring no overspend
  • Capacity planning for your team and shared resources
  • Managing a team of Accounts Managers, Account Executives and content producers (5-6)
  • Managing team escalations, escalating to the ELT where necessary
  • Assisting with the creation of webinars, livestreams and video assets via our online production
  • tool (StreamYard)

Key requirements

  • 5-6 years of account management experience, with time spent in an agency
  • Strong knowledge of social media landscape with some paid media knowledge
  • Experience working with creative teams to deliver on briefs
  • Experience managing a team
  • Webinar creation experience is desirable
