Role Overview

We are looking for a Social Client Director to work on one of the world’s largest and most iconic brands in Gaming, a very rare opportunity for a senior leader to drive and operate a specialist team. You will enjoy a range of integrated projects at scale, across creative, content, community, events & activations, digital experiences and elevate the brand to the next level. Supported by a Social Content & Community Team, agency partners and media publishers; your role is to work closely with the brand’s in-house Marketing team to execute local and global social strategies that truly drive innovation and deliver impact

Responsibilities

  • Builds a strong and trusted relationship with key stakeholders across various teams and regions
  • Has a strong understanding of the client’s brand and able to provide strategic counsel to clients to identify opportunities, with integrated marketing knowledge
  • Delivers strong social & commercial thinking and can take a brief into execution, on time and budget
  • Identifies issues early and quickly problem solves, with little to no disruption to workflow nor delivery
  • Produces concise material and documents to brief and collaborate with suppliers & agency partners
  • Responsible for executing social strategy by partnering with clients and operating various teams
  • Strategically develops and runs efficient and effective paid campaigns alongside the Paid Social Director
  • Report on both organic and paid social to show actionable insights and commercial impact/ROI
  • Drives ongoing relationships with publishers to adopt innovation and to optimise social performance

As well as Social Media, Business Development, and Leadership + Management.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 6 years social media experience, underpinned by a degree in Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or PR
  • Experience in Gaming and/or Tech
  • Has an expert understanding of social media landscape with some paid media knowledge
  • Collaborative by nature, ensuring both outputs and outcomes are of quality and excellence
  • Is highly strategic and creative with socially-first ideas that can extend more widely
  • Highly deadline oriented with agility, able to work autonomously and in small to large teams
  • Able to present confidently and take clients on a journey, educating them on Social Media
