In June of 2023, Skills Group and the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) partnered for the first time to deliver a large-scale job fair that brought together 80 prominent employers from both the private and public sectors, attracting 2000 registered attendees. As a highlight of the event, we teamed up with Skills Group to introduce Skills Alley, an impactful experiential initiative.

Skills Alley consisted of a bespoke collection of twelve carefully curated and vibrant Skills ‘Shacks’. Each shack featured its own interactive experience, offering attendees a unique preview of the diverse training programmes provided by Skills Group across various industries such as trades, healthcare, business, police and defence, hospitality and beauty.

Skills Alley perfectly marked the launch of Skill Group’s new brand identity. The sentiment behind the new skills brand was the impact one change can make. Training one person is something that can impact a whole community, causing a ripple effect. The Skills MSD job fair presented the perfect opportunity to launch this new identity in a unique and impactful way.
