Bastion undertook an extensive market review of available sponsorship properties. Following this strategic process, Gold Coast Stadium was identified as a platform that could provide significant awareness but also could form a centrepiece to showcase Heritage Bank’s solutions.

The opportunity also provided Heritage Bank with a great link to the community through the various initiatives run at the Stadium and in parallel with the Stadium’s tenant club, the AFL team the Gold Coast Suns. Bastion negotiated for Heritage Bank to not only get naming rights to the stadium, but also significant reach and benefits into the AFL and AFLW teams, and a dedicated stadium membership offering.

Bastion also negotiated the development of a loyalty program, “First Perks”, through the partnership, this allowed Heritage Bank members to earn special perks from discounted tickets & merchandise to VIP Parking, skipping the queue, to member pre-sale.
