We were briefed by our client Epic Games to create a unique experience to celebrate the launch of the limited time gameplay experience: Fortnite OG. This was special season for Fortnite: Battle Royale, where the original game map returned for just a month to surprise and delight the fans.

For this, we recreated an old out of home marketing beat: the humble tram wrap. During November 2023, Melbournians were able to encounter the adorable Fortnite tram as it made its way around Melbourne. But we didn’t just stop with the outside of the tram: we also had the inside of the Fortnite Tram decked out with three game stations and invited Team PWR, Australia’s leading eSports team to join us to film some unique content!

While Team PWR weren’t able to secure a Victory Royale (playing Fortnite on a moving tram proved to be a bit harder than we first thought) we still got some awesome results: our wrap got an estimated 355k impressions, our social amplification got over 8 thousand engagements, and Team PWR’s content currently has over 780k views over on YouTube.
