Learning Machines and Bastion Transform are collaborating to develop use cases, engagements and delivery of projects at the intersection of AI, communications and organisational strategy. As part of a new memorandum of understanding, the digital and technology consultancies will work together to explore ways that AI can drive transformation, improve services and retain the trust of their customers and stakeholders.
Gaven Morris is the Managing Director of Bastion Transform a content strategy and digital transformation consultancy he founded in 2021. He is an executive and journalist with over 30 years of experience in international and Australian media including as the Director of ABC News, where he led a team that transformed the national broadcaster to become Australia’s leading online and social media news service through a comprehensive strategic and cultural change program. He led the launch of the ABC News Channel, was on the launch team of Al Jazeera English and was on the team that elevated CNN.com as one of the first global online news services. He spent many years as a correspondent, a producer and major coverage co-ordinator on some of the most significant international and Australian news events.
Dr Jason Jingshi Li is the founder of Learning Machines. He is a data scientist with more than a decade of experience in artificial intelligence research and development, including years of leading the technical delivery of numerous AI and Natural Language Processing solutions for IBM in Australia and Asia-Pacific, and serving as a member of the ABC Advisory Council between 2019-2022 on providing strategic, technological, and programming advice and recommendations to ABC board and management. He is active in advising, architecting, and delivering enterprise AI solutions to Australian financial and public sectors.
